Our hotel is located in Paguera, a small town in Calviá in the southwest of Mallorca, which, thanks to its location and facilities, has become a benchmark for family tourism in Mallorca.

Paguera is located half an hour by car from Palma de Mallorca airport, being perfectly communicated with it and with the city of Palma thanks to a modern highway. In addition, and for a better mobility of its visitors, it has a public transport service (bus lines 102 and 122), taxi service and a wide range of car and motorcycle rental services.

Beaches of Paguera

One of the main attractions of Paguera are its three beautiful beaches, shallow, with a good sandy area, and equipped to offer locals and tourists a perfect day at the beach.

Palmira Beach

Palmira beach, in Paguera, is the largest of the three that run along the coast of Paguera. It is the one that runs along the well-known Bulevard de Paguera and has services such as showers, toilets, umbrellas and hammocks, public transport, lifeguard, facilities for people with reduced mobility or with disabilities, footbridges, and a wide range of nautical activities such as paddle surfing.

Tora Beach

The second largest beach in Paguera, is located just at the beginning of the Boulevard, it is somewhat narrower than the previous one, but it has a very wide area of fine sand, and calm and shallow waters, as well as a beautiful area of pine forest .

Like the previous one, it is also equipped with all the services of the previous one, except for the ramps and facilities for the disabled.

La Romana beach

It is the smallest and the least central of the three, although thanks to that it is also the quietest. It can be reached thanks to a paved walkway that connects it with Torà beach or from the free parking lot located just behind the beach, on José Gevara street.

Despite its size, it also has services such as showers, lifeguards, hammocks and umbrellas, or pedal boat rental among other sports activities.

Tennis in Paguera

If you are passionate about tennis and do not want to leave it even during your holidays, in Paguera you will find the best facilities and professionals to continue enjoying your favorite sport.

Less than 150 meters from our hotel, you will find the Tennis Academy Mallorca, a well-known academy that offers individual classes, team training, Easter and summer camps, and classes at home.

Our Cupid’Or hotel is perfect for those who travel to Mallorca to participate or enjoy one of the many sporting events that take place on the island throughout the year.

The Mallorca Open Tennis is held in Santa Ponsa, just 10 minutes by car from our hotel. And in the center of Paguera, specifically in Playa de Torà, the famous Paguera triathlon, better known as the Challenge Paguera Mallorca.

Hiking and off-road excursions

The Hotel Cupid’Or is a perfect starting point for those who are going to explore one of the many hiking trails that the island offers. A few minutes from Paguera is Puerto de Andratx, the starting point of the well-known GR 221 route.

If you like nature and excursions, you are going to know and enjoy Mallorca in a different and special way. The GR 221 route runs along the Sierra de Tramuntana, and passes through picturesque villages such as Estellencs, Deià or Lluc.

In addition to the GR221 route, the area offers many other possibilities, such as excursions to the Natural Park of the island of Sa Dragonera, or climbing Puig Galatzó, the latter for those somewhat more advanced hikers.

In our hotel you can also book off-road excursions in 4×4 vehicles and other types of activities such as climbing, rappelling, diving, or participate in survival events or gymkhanas. A totally different way of knowing and enjoying our island, which we are sure will not leave you indifferent.

Nautical / water sports

In Paguera you can enjoy a wide range of nautical sports. On the same beach you can rent pedal boats, and there are a good number of businesses that offer the possibility of renting jet skis, boats, catamaran excursions, diving courses or practice, or paddle surfing among others. In addition, in nearby places, such as Port Adriano or Port d’Andratx, you can do sailing courses.

Cycling in Paguera

Given its location at the foot of the Sierra de Tramuntana, Paguera is an ideal area for cycling enthusiasts. From Paguera you can take a variety of routes and excursions that run through some of the most beautiful villages in the Sierra, such as Es Capdella, Fornalutx or Estellencs.

With cyclists in mind, the Cupid’Or hotel will soon be a bike-friendly hotel, offering adapted facilities with bike racks and other equipment shortly.

Shopping

On Tuesday mornings there is a local market that is highly appreciated by both locals and tourists, where you can buy fresh vegetables and fruits, cold cuts and local products, as well as clothes, bags and other items.

The Paguera area has a good range of shops of all kinds, and those who want to take a walk through a shopping center have the La Vila shopping center, in Magaluf, or “Porto Pi” less than 10 minutes away by car. , in Palma.

Activities and entertainment for the whole family

Both in Paguera and in the nearby areas, there is a good range of leisure and entertainment for children and adults.

In Santa Ponsa, a 10-minute drive away, is the Jungle Park adventure park, which ensures a day of outdoor activities for everyone. Those who prefer a day of water activities can slide down the slides of the Western Water Park, also in Santa Ponsa.

Next in order of proximity is the Pirates Adventure, located in Magalluf, a show that combines music, dance, and acrobatics and lots of fun.

And for those who want to learn and know more about marine animals, there is Marineland, on the Costa de’n Blanes, just 15 minutes away by car. There you can see dolphin shows (and swim with them), sea lions, parrots, and see its large aquarium.
